Blepharoplasty and Brow Suspension
Case Report: Patient presenting with a tired appearance and slight brow drooping.
Patient: Female, 38 years old
Procedure: Blepharoplasty and Brow Tail Suspension
Recovery: 15 days post-operative
1. Initial Complaint
Janaina presented with excess skin and fat pads in the upper eyelid region, as well as a slight droop in the tail of her eyebrow, which gave her gaze a tired appearance. The procedure was performed at the clinic under local anesthesia and sedation, aiming for comfort and safety.
2. Upper Blepharoplasty
First, we performed upper blepharoplasty, a technique that aims to remove excess skin and fat pads in the upper eyelid region. This procedure seeks to provide a lighter appearance to the gaze, attenuating the heavier look.
3. Brow Tail Suspension
Next, through an incision within the scalp, we performed a suspension of the eyebrow tail, gently elevating the outer corner of the eyebrows. This technique assists in opening the gaze, seeking a more rested and rejuvenated appearance, with incisions placed in non-apparent locations.
4. Result and Recovery
Janaina's recovery was smooth, and she quickly noticed a more defined and natural gaze.
